After years of vacancy, Skypoint Ventures purchased the Ferris Building in 2013 in hopes of restoring it to its former glory. It is a piece of Flint’s storied past, getting its name from the Ferris Brothers’ Fur Company, which once called 615 South Saginaw St. home. Today, The Ferris Wheel harbors invention, innovation and coworking. The space is designed to enable entrepreneurs to find a home and gain access to the resources they need to flourish. The first floor of the building houses both 100K Ideas, Foster Coffee, a craft coffee company from Owosso, MI and FlintPrints. The other six floors include conference rooms and a variety of offices available for rent.
